Abstract

The potential risks of hydric erosion are determined using the USLE in a pilot area in theolive grove of the south of Spain. The analysis of the different parameters in the area allows to give cons-tant values for the factors R, C and P. The value K shows a gradient between 0,1 and 0,55, depending onthe texture and nature of the clays. The topographical factor (LS) is essential to define the different ero-sion classes. The results are based on the field observations and the histograms of the thematic maps ela-borated using the GIS IDRISI.
