André Breton y la pregunta por la ObraDeseo, Idea e historia en la negación surrealista del estilo II

Resumen

Continuando lo expuesto en la primera parte, nos adentramos en cómo la posición de Breton obliga a trascender el ámbito del análisis de las obras y a emprender una reescritura mítica diferente de la realidad objetual que hasta el propio Breton intenta describir. Tal reescritura supone una ruptura con respecto al principio de originalismo que se había situado como punto de partida del arte moderno y se toca en ello con algunos aspectos con el análisis que, contemporáneamente, Benjamín estaba realizando acerca de la prehistoria de la actualidad = The present paper is a continuation of the first part of this study, published in an earlier issue. Here we will explore the way in which Breton's position led him to go beyond the analysis of works of art and to attempt to produce a mythical revaluation of the reality of the object which Breton himself tríes to describe. This reinterpretation in turn involves a break with the principle of originalism which had been established as a starting point for modem art, and comes finto contad with some aspects of the analysis of prehistory which Benjamín was carrying out at the same time.
