Abstract
Based on the importance the translation has to disclose peop~es and cultures, this paper seeks to highlight the anomalies and irregularities in the translation ofa collection ofSahrawi proverbs. Given the relevance ofwhat involves the conception of a culture's proverbial legacy, we considered necessary to highlight such errors by clarifying and explaining the anomaly detected, proverb by proverb, and doing correctness thereof, in order to limit the distorted culture's image reflected in the translations submitted to Spanish-speaking readers. The approached work is titled Proverbios saharauis.
