Resumen

This paper presents a practical case study on the use of phraseological units within the framework of the module “Spanish Translation 2 (English > Spanish < English)”, a core module taken by second-year undergraduate students enrolled in the BA Translation (Spanish) course at the University of Westminster. Under the umbrella term of phraseological unit, the stress is mainly put on the study of collocations. The data were collected from one piece of coursework (English into Spanish), falling within the subject area of Economics, completed by translation students during the academic year 2014-2015.
