Resum
The elderly population has increased considerably in the last years. At the same time, the number of sistemics pathology treated with differents drugs has also increased. These patients may presents alterations or interactions because of their own pathology either the drugs consumed at the dental treatment. In the present article we expose the sistemics pathology and drugs therapy found in a institutionalized elderly population. We describe the possible adverse effects or interactions that could appear during the dental treatment.
