Resumen
The mucoceles or mucous cyst are normal discoveries and they are produced by obstruction or opening of the excretor duct of a minar salivary gland. In this report we have studied the cases ot mucocele that have been presented in the Pathological Anatomy department of the Hospital Clínico in Granada duríng the last ten years. The total number of cases is 63 and the midle age of the pacients is 24. In more than half of the cases the pacients treated were under 20 years old who could present very peculiar clinic aspects that are not observed in adults. Some pathologica/ c/inic aspects of the mucoceles in our study are very similar to the ones that show the majority of the authors althogh we differ reftering to the etypathogenia because we think that the most of the cases are originated by obstruction ot the excretor duct of the salivary gland.
