Sustainable development goals

Abstract

Digital competence is one of the key skills for lifelong learning. Our society requires that citizens be prepared to develop in relation to technology and function in digital environments. For this reason, educational institutions should be responsible for responding to this situation and, at the same time, they need teachers who are more and more prepared to deal with digital backgrounds. he present research aims to analyze the scientiic production on digital competence and initial teacher training in the Scopus database. A combination of two key words: "digital competence" and "teacher training" was carried out a relevant search capable of responding to the research objective, to this end. Nine research variables have been considered: number of publications per year, origin of the iles, authors with more production scientiic, publishing institutions, countries, type of document, area of publication, keywords and most cited papers.
