Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze and compare adherence to the Mediterranean diet and the practice of physical exercise in students enrolled in first and second underdegree in Nursing, at the Campuses of Ceuta and Granada of the University of Granada. The questionnaires completed through Google Drive were socio-demographic data, the PREDIMED and the IPAQ, on a sample of 254 students in November 2019. The analyses performed were t-Student, ANOVA, Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient and Chi-square, with statistically significant values with p0.050. The most relevant IPAQ results were that men practice more physical activity than women and sophomores practice more exercise than first-year students. And relative to the PREDIMED, the higher the age of the individual, the greater the adherence to the Mediterranean diet, just as such adherence is increased with the fact of living together.
