Resum

Rosacea, not often diagnosed by the ophthalmologist, is a disease entity belonging to Oermato-ophthalmology. We consider in its evolution three stages: 1) Early stage of flushing; 2) Mild stage, with telangiectases, and 3) Late Stage with acnelike lesions. Twentytwo patients, of which 86% present ocular manifestations, are studied. These ocular changes comprise: inespecific symptoms, palpebrallesions, conjunctivallesions, and corneal lesions. T o evaluate these changes, five parameters are taken into consideration, of which, photophobia (60%), chalazia 40%, and vascular tortuosity of conjunctival vessels (60%), stand out. Corneal changes appear in the late stage, epitheliallesions and, vascularization being the most frequent.
