Resum

The aim of this paper is to show the finding, in the library of Sacro Monte´s Abbey, some books -9 in total, - belonging to the library of Ferdinand Columbus. For its study we know that were acquired in 1522 and 1531 when he accompanied Charles V on his coronation trip. The books belong to a chronological period between 1492, the oldest, and 1527. the most recently. That is, the period that historians have called the book of incunabula and postincunabula (rare and gothic books). They all share the same theme: the «Passio Domini». These works are leaded to the common people with a didactic purpose, because woodcut illustrations are used as a tool for nearest the narration of the most important events of the Passion of Christ. The works are beautifully decorated by some of the most important engravers of the sixteenth century German, as Urs Graf, and because the editors of these «Passio» are very active members of German humanism, such as Daniel Agricola and Jacobs Locher, for example. Finally, this group of small works, most brochures, are important if we consider that until now we knew its existence only through the library catalogs of Ferdinand Columbus and their identification allows us the study of this library which has retained only 20% of the original background.
