Resum

The houses done by Alison and Peter Smithson became a manifest of modernity and they proposed new ways of living adapted to the society of their time that overcome the previous typologies and archetypes. In every built or not built project, the houses are done like places to experiment, to test the new ideas and check intuitions. The architecture of The Smithson is done by relationship and swap, she is done by vital actions and experiences about a reality that transforms with a minimal energy. In the background of this process there is the “as found” concept, the things that someone can find without being searched and the things that we trust to load our work with meaning. Each house is a statement of intentions in relationship with the patrimonial intervention, the recycling, the landscape and the work of design.
