Resumen

Grazia Deledda, like many other writers of her time, assiduously contributed to various magazines, in which she published novels, mainly in instalments, or, most often, novellas. One of her most enduring contributions (1902-1936, year of the writer’s death) was with the Milanese newspaper Corriere della Sera. After a careful review of the newspaper from the years in which Deledda contributed, some novellas have been identified that have never been republished. They have been excluded, for an unknown reason, from the later collection. The article describes the main mainly features of one of these works and hypothesizes the reasons for the lack of inclusion in the several anthologies that comprise the corpus of the Sardinian writer’s works.
