Resumen
Yorgos Seferis’ correspondence with his sister Ioanna is an interesting autobiographical document ofthe poet from many perspectives. Literature is one of the central themes of his letters, so we find many comments about the Greek philological landscape. Through these comments we can get a clear sense of Seferis’ position with respect to the philo-logicalsituation of Greece at that time. This can help us better understand his process of poetic formation, which was to be revealed with the publication of his first books.
