Evaluando la Agencia Estatal de Protección de la Salud en el Deporte

Abstract

In a paper published on the occasion of the adoption of the Organic Law 3/2013, of June 20, the protection of the health of athletes and the fight against doping in sport, I had the opportunity to examine the main elements of the configuration that rule attributed to the State Agency for Health Protection in Sport. Once after a sufficient period of time during which have been running this legal setting, the ECA has conducted a review of the degree of compliance with the objectives established for that public body. The results of this evaluation have not been very positive, why we do this work in which we try to emphasize the importance of compliance with the provisions of LAE to meet the needs and quality demands of citizens in public services, in a regime of transparency and under a multi-year management contract that sets out the objectives, plans, personal and material resources and assessment procedures necessary to ensure implementation of the object of the Agency.
