Zusammenfassung
In 1980, our scientific curiosity led us to find a capital from the Caliphal period, which had been mentioned by Manuel Gómez-Moreno, in the town of Alhendín (Granada), in a house in Concepción Street. In the following decades the house became a ruin and was finally demolished. Luckily, the capital was recovered by the Town Hall, where it is conserved. We publish its epigraphical and stylistic study in this brief article, worked from the period of al-Ḥakam II for madīnat al-Zaḥrā’, and could be brought to Granada in Taifas period in XI century.
