Abstract

Tay-Sachs disease is a rare metabolic disease, belonging to the group of rare lysosomal diseases for which there is no effective treatment. Having as main objective the improvement ofthe health training of our professionals to achieve in this way an increase ofthe quality of Jife ofthe patients affected by this disease, a specific care plan is elaborated for patients diagnosed ofTay-Sachs using nurse methodology. This article collects quality information based on evidence. Taking into account that there is currently no effective treatment for this disease, the development of care strategy is an instrument ofvital importance and general interest
