Abstract

In this paper, a theoretical review of the purpose of the so-called "Improvement Plans" implemented at Andalusian schools is proposed. These plans focus on the current educational framework and are directly connected with the culture of evaluation of schools in the region of Andalusia. A strategy is built up in order to make proposals for improvement, according to current regulations. Finally, the role of the Educational Inspection in the processes of evaluation and improvement of schools is highlighted, as a quality-assessment tool of the education system, to promote educational success of all students
