Abstract
Granada is characterized by the following features: The urban nucleos are very extended, the town hall has very few economical resources, the orography is steep, the waterbearings are vulnerable to be polluted by the underground water and about 40% of its surface is occupied by soils, that must be protected. The Urban Solid Waste Management has become the·main objective and they have created the Urban Solid Waste Management Leading Project, initiative that was confirmed 5th November 1985.
