Abstract

This work deals in a synthetic, ordered and systematic way with the panorama of support measures for persons with disabilities, which, following the reform of our substantive and procedural legislation by Law 8/2021 of 2 June, has sought to bring our legal system into line with the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. This reform has brought about profound changes and undeniable progress, but it has also revealed shortcomings and contradictions, in which case law is called upon to play a central role.
