Abstract
The characterization of the episodes was done by calculating the dominant frequencies, i. e., the local maxima in the probability distribution of all the dominant peaks of the power spectra that constitute an episode. We designed a scheme to characterize the polarization attributes of each dominant frequency, i. e., rectilinearity, azimuth and elevation. Thereby, we were capable of distinguishing between well polarized (FBP) and linearly polarized (FLP) frequencies, as well as comparing their attributes with the eruptive activity reconstructed from satellite images.
