¿Apertura al mercado exterior de los KIBS peruanos? Un análisis desde la percepción de sus directores ejecutivos

Resumen

En la actual economía globalizada, la literatura empírica sobre los servicios intensivos en conocimiento (KIBS) destaca el importante papel que tienen estos servicios en el desarrollo de las empresas. A pesar de ello, aún hacen falta más estudios que ayuden a comprender este fenómeno, no solo en los países desarrollados, sino también en los países en desarrollo. El propósito de esta investigación es conocer si existe una relación positiva entre la innovación que realizan los KIBS, el nivel de estudios de sus trabajadores, los agentes de su cadena de suministro y la apertura al mercado exterior de sus operaciones, en base a una muestra de 297 KIBS de Perú. A través del método OPROBIT, los resultados evidencian que la innovación organizacional y en marketing, el nivel de estudios superiores de sus trabajadores y las relaciones con los clientes son determinantes para la internacionalización de los KIBS.
