Abstract

Our main objective in this dissertation was to develop an assessment instrument of police attitudes toward intervention in IPVAW adapted to the Spanish legislative, linguistic, and cultural contexts. To this end, we used a mixed-methods approach, integrating qualitative and quantitative data from studies included in the empirical chapters. In parallel, our examination of the nomological network of the construct contributes to research on the mechanisms that explain these attitudes.
