El discurso neomachista de la fundación 신 남성연대 (Solidaridad de Nuevos Hombres) en el ciberespaciosu difusión entre los jóvenes y su impacto en la política en Corea del Sur

Resumen

Este artículo analiza el auge del discurso neomachista contemporáneo en Corea del Sur y su difusión en las plataformas online de gran accesibilidad para la juventud coreana y asiática en general. Más concretamente, se centra en el análisis del discurso del líder de 신 남성연대 (Solidaridad de Nuevos Hombres) en una larga entrevista de 40 minutos publicada en uno de los canales de mayor impacto de youtube para la juventud asiática. En 2021, sus reivindicaciones se centraron, entre otras cuestiones, en la necesidad de acabar con el Ministerio de Igualdad de Género y Familia de Corea del Sur, una lucha que tuvo su reflejo en la campaña electoral de los candidatos a la presidencia en 2022, llegando incluso el candidato progresista a posicionarse en contra de dicho Ministerio, a pesar de haber sido concebido por su propio partido y de haber funcionado durante cinco años.
