Resumen

The use of ICT has a long way to go in the so-called core subjects, and this is limited in specific areas such as Physical Education. Furthermore, it has been observed how this premise has intensified during the COVID-19 confinement. Recent research has identified that part of the students in Primary and High Education decreased or eliminated Physical Education classes during this period. In a time prior to the pandemic, many teachers of this area have focused on a teaching-learning process away from the implementation of ICT. The digital competence of teachers is still limited to the technical-instrumental use of digital media and tools. Lack of training, resistance to change and scarcity of resources, together with the difficulties perceived in the area of Physical Education, are limitations that negatively influence the development of digital competence of both teachers and students. The aim of this study is to analyze the existing scientific literature on the use of ICT during the development of Physical Education classes. ICT can be an ordinary instrument and at the same time enrich the process of teaching learning-process in Physical Education. However, this cannot remain the work of only a few teachers for fear of the deep-rooted difficulties of implementation and innovation, but must become as obvious as the immersion of the population in technologies is considered.
