Zusammenfassung
Geriatric assessment is the basic element to measure functional capacity as an expression of health. Objective: The goals of geriatric evaluation are primarily to achieve a quadruple diagnosis that often uncovers undiagnosed treatable problems. Methodology: A narrative review of the latest scientific evidence from journals indexed in the Cochrane Library, Pubmed, Cuiden and Medine databases has been carried out. Results: The multidimensional geriatric assessment includes clinical assessment, functional assessment, mental assessment, and social assessment. Conclusion: It is essential to get a good diagnosis to carry out good care in the elderly.
