Abstract

ITU is one of the most common bacterial infections in children. The majority are caused by bacteria being the main E.Coli. ITU is the most frequent serious bacterial infection in pediatric age, especially in infants, so it should be ruled out whenever a fever without focus appears in children under 2 years. The diagnosis should be made by a urine collection as sterile as possible .
