Abstract

This work show a new instrument for evaluating lighting enviroments starting from the measurement of luminance distribution , whether in the hemisphere on the working plane or in the observer visual field. A total of six lighting enviroments are evaluated showing their histograms with the measured zones by luminance , interval. The contrast rendering factors and equivalent veiling luminances are also calculated. For the first time direct measurements are used in the calculation , instead of theoric data provided by the luminance and iluminance predermination methods for interior lighting.
