Resumen

The mind-reading debate has been taken for two sets of theories: the simulationist theory and theory-theories. Both views have shared two assumptions: 1) a dualist distinction between cognition and behaviour, and 2) a metarepresentational structure of the mental states involved in mind-reading capacities. The aim of this paper is attempt to argue against those assumptions and propose an alternative view that I will define as an Ecological view of mind-reading.
