Resumen
The research in this paper revolves around two central axes. The first concerns the analysis of trafficking in persons, especially children, for the purpose of sexual exploitation in cyberspace. The virtual trafficking of children for sexual exploitation is a crime that has grown exponentially since COVID-19 affected the entire world. If human trafficking, in all its forms, was a difficult crime to eradicate, its diversion to cyberspace, where the criminal finds it easier to hide, to recruit victims, to sell pornographic content, has made this battle even more complex. The second of these focuses on the study of the relatively new figure of the undercover computer agent in order to critically analyse his figure in the Spanish legal system and his procedure for action in order to present the dysfunctions found and propose new elements in his action.
