Variability in the compliance with 24-hour movement guidelines between week and weekend days in adolescents of the city of Huesca

Résumé

Introdução: Na Espanha, não há estudos que tenham analisado conjuntamente a adesão às recomendações de movimento [ou seja, atividade física (AF), tempo de tela e duração do sono], estabelecendo diferenças de acordo com o tipo de jornada de trabalho. Objectivos: O objetivo do estudo foi identificar o grau de cumprimento das recomendações de movimento durante a semana e durante o fim de semana. Métodos: Oitenta e cinco adolescentes (45,9% do sexo masculino; M = 12,97 ± 0,52), com idades entre 12 e 14 anos de idade, que usavam um acelerómetro GT3X para quantificar os níveis de AF e preencheram um questionário sobre tempo de tela e duração do sono tanto durante a semana como no fim de semana. Resultados e discussão: Nos resultados encontrados, vale destacar a baixa adesão conjunta às recomendações de movimento, principalmente aquelas relacionadas ao tempo de tela e à prática de AF. Em relação ao tipo de dia, os adolescentes relataram menor adesão às recomendações de movimento durante o fim de semana. Conclusões: Portanto, é conveniente desenvolver intervenções escolares, baseadas na promoção de diferentes recomendações de movimento, com ênfase especial no fim de semana.
