Abstract

The granular cell tumor, or Abrikossoff tumor, is a rare pathology that appears in the middle-aged female gender. The frequent location is in the head and neck, being atypical the colorectal location or perianal location. Its clinical diagnosis is difficult, and requires confirmation by means of the anatomopathological and immunohistochemical study. Its treatment is constituted by local excision with safety margins and subsequent follow-up of the patient. The objective is to present the clinical case of a 54-year-old woman with this diagnosis, for her clinical correlation and treatment.
