Resumen
The technocratic society in which we live compel us in a perspective where pragmatism becomes almost a faith. So, in this sui generis neo-occamism, the concept of practicality is semantically opposed to that of problematicality. This problematicality is maybe the most ancient and intimate virtue of that kind of knowledge which we usually define philosophy. In this article we’ll try to underline how Mind’s Theory, in the multifacetedness of its speculations, enlightens those various dimensions which characterize the mental phenomenon and which the reductionist tendency often smooths over. After a short introduction, we’ll offer a synthetic presentation of the neo-eliminativism and of some theories of Mind that problematize several of its assumptions. Finally we’ll underline how, just in the defense of the subtle conceptual undertones with which it works, philosophy becomes a resistance against the technical homologation.
