Résumé
This article aims to highlight critical social work, that is, social work that approaches at a certain moment in its history the social theory of Marx and its tradition. An approach that is carried out through a bibliographic research, based on Latin American and European literature. This approach is demonstrated from three fundamental dimensions for social work: theoretical-methodological, ethical-political and technical-operational, and it is made clear, through these the perspective of critical social work from the Marxist approach. It is understood that debating this issue is important in the present days, first, because we live in neoliberal times that transmute everything that is structural into individual, second, due to the fact that, in Spain, in particular, there are almost no productions in this direction, and third because it is wanted through these reflections to promote research, debates and practice in this perspective.
