Abstract

The management of new technologies allows the functional literacy of citizens. However, the use of this platform or the knowledge of ICTs does not add value to the didactic if it is not accompanied by a teaching-learning methodology that allows students to capture knowledge and experience it. This is the goal of oratory as a didactic tool, that applied to the virtual environment, contributes to a better progress and the assimilation of knowledge. A teaching methodology that enhances communicative skills, and that at the same time develops competences of the digital environment will favor a better knowledge acquisition and, therefore, the effectiveness of the teaching-learning process, fitting it to reach the terminal capacities of the subject. A methodology that allows a new way of communicating adapted to the needs of the XXI century, and that includes not only the new educational competences of the new century, such as skilled communication, but also reaches to impregnate and integrate students, in the form of storytelling.
