Résumé

The digitalization of society has conditioned the functioning and  dynamics of the family, changing its way of responding to certain needs and demands. It is possible to appreciate that key aspects such as communication or care have been affected by digital transformation. In this sense, the change experienced in relationships and attention to the needs of the elderly has been especially significant. As a result, we are witnessing new ways of doing and being in the family that complement the traditional transactions and tasks within the family system.
