Resumen

Cuando la profesora Judith Stiehm de la Universidad Internacional de la Florida (Estados Unidos), publicó “Nonviolence is Two”, en 1968, recogió el debate que se estaba produciendo tanto en el ámbito académico como en la calle sobre el valor de la acción política noviolenta. Cuatro años más tarde, ampliaría en el libro Nonviolent Power: Active and Passive Resistance in America, sus puntos de vista sobre dos formas bastante diferentes de resistencia noviolenta, una forma individual y una forma grupal.
