Pielonefritis aguda bilateral; ¿entidad infrecuente? A propósito de dos casos

Resumo
Bilateral pyelonephritis( BP) is an acute, rare and life-threatening condition that occurs in 5–7% cases. BP is commonly seen in patients with obstructive uropathy and/or in immunocompromised patients. We report two cases diagnosed in one year in the same hospital. The first one, a 32-year-old woman with no history of interest, who entered for acute pyelonephritis and had septic shock with heart failure. The second one, a 75-year-old man with a history of ischemic heart disease, signs of micturition syndrome, and high fever. In both cases the treatment was conservative with antibiotic and with resolution of this potentially lethal situation.
