Kidney infarction in children is a poorly described entity. The incidence and causes are not exactly known. The diagnosis is not easy because it does not present pathognomonic symptoms. It is also unclear how to proceed from the point of view of treatment. It usually occurs in people of middle-advanced age and normally in the context of invasive diagnostictherapeutic procedures, among others. We present the case of a 15-year-old boy with no personal or family history of interest and with a final diagnosis of renal failure due to infarction in an atypical location (distal branch ofthe left main renal artery).
