Resumen

La tecnología lleva años ejerciendo influencia sobre los productos culturales y el documental no ha sido ajeno a esta revolución. De las adaptaciones más sencillas a las más participativas, co-creadas y transmedia, el documental ha dado lugar a múltiples estructuras narrativas. En este artículo, analizamos cómo el webdoc ha desarrollado distintas estrategias para integrar la visualización de datos en su narrativa e interfaz: un proceso en el que la visualización ha ido ganando protagonismo sobre el vídeo, llegando incluso a reemplazarlo, y que ha dado lugar a lo que consideramos un nuevo género y un nuevo conjunto de estructuras narrativas.
