Abstract
In this paper we deal with a lawsuit between the bailiff of Abla, named Álvaro Abenquelmil, and the city of Baza. In general, the documents allude to how he presented Arab documents where his rights to those lands and pastures for his cattle were made very clear.The city of Baza argues that the monarchs had granted those possessions to the city's Proprietors It seems that the solution was to recognize Abenquelmil to use the pastures during his lifetime and that the land was then owned by the city of Baza.
