Resumo
A questionnaire was carried out among the parent of 43 children severly afflicted with nursing caries. These children had to undergo radical treatment which consisted of the extraction of there four maxillary incisors. The children's behaviour after extraction was analysed, as was their difficulty in speaking and chewing without their incisors. This survey also covers the extent of adaptation and acceptance of the parents and 28 children wearing the infantile protesis needed to complete their treatment.
