Abstract

The composite esthetic inlays have been proposed as an alternative method to the conventional composite restorations. In the present work, an study using the colouring penetration test of diferent materials used for the making of a inlay of compound material have been carried out . For this, cavities were carved mesio-occluso-distal in 30 molars healthy extracted for periodontal disease and they were distributed at random in 3 groups of ten pieces each one. In the first group were carried out inlays of composite for the direct method. In the second and third group was carried out inlays for the indirect method, being those of the second group photopolymerization and those of the third group thermopolymerization. We found significant differences between the inlays direct and indirect photopolymerization.
