Zusammenfassung
Gingival hyperplasia is one of the adverse effects associated with the use of three different types of pharmaceutical agents, especially hydantoins, Ca blockers and ciclosporin A. In the present study the clinical and histological characteristics and possible known pathogenic mechanisms are exposed. At the same time, prophylaxis protocol and therapeutic indications are mentioned.
