AGUILERA CARACUEL

I hold a bachelor's degree in business administration and management and a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Granada (UGR) (2007), graduating with honors (9) in both degrees. I also hold a master's degree in economics and business organization, graduating with honours (9.5). I earned my PhD with European Distinction from UGR in October 2010, graduating with the highest distinction, summa cum laude. I have been a member of the Innovation, Sustainability, and Business Development research group (SEJ-481) since October 2007. My research focuses on the intersection of firm sustainability with internationalization. I am currently working on projects that examine the combined influence of environmental, social, and internationalization management on multinational companies originating in emerging markets. The publication of more than 35 articles in Journal Citation Reports (JCR)-indexed journals reflects the research effort undertaken. Some of the prestigious JCR journals in which articles have been published in the last 10 years include the Review of Managerial Science, Business Strategy and the Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Business Strategy and Development, International Business Review, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Ethics, International Journal of Emerging Markets, Organization & Environment, Management International Review, European Research on Management and Business Economics, the International Journal of Human Resource Management, Business Strategy and Development, Asian Business and Management, Business Research Quarterly, and Multinational Business Review, among others. It is important to highlight my active involvement in the development and coordination of 13 research projects. Of particular note is my participation in 5 research projects under the Spanish National R&D&I Plan and in 7 research projects funded by the Regional Ministry of Innovation, Science and Enterprise (Government of Andalusia). I would also like to emphasize that I have served as principal investigator (PI) on 5 research projects obtained through competitive funding opportunities.
