Doctor by the Universidad de Jaén with the thesis Aproximación bayesiana a la metodología de la verosimilitud empírica 2002. Supervised by Dr. Carlos Sanchez Gonzalez.

Graduate in Mathematical Sciences (specialty in Statistics and I.O.) from the University of Granada and Doctor in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Jaén. I have been a professor in the Department of Statistics and I.O. from the University of Jaén, where I have taught in various undergraduate and engineering degrees from various faculties. I currently belong as Doctor Assistant Professor (LOSU) to the Department of Quantitative Methods for Economics and Business of the University of Granada, where I teach undergraduate studies in the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences. As a member of the Research Group 'Probabilistic Models applied to the Social Sciences' (FQM-150) I have various publications and presentations at national and international Congresses on Quantitative Methods applied to the Social Sciences.
