Abstract

The main purpose of this research work is to elaborate a methodology related to video game analysis, from the point of view of the different arts in general, and graphic arts in particular. What I hope to achieve with this work is: To create a new method that replaces the current ones at the time of analysing and studying video games, by developing a new methodology, that also helps video game creators at the time of producing new games. This research work pretends to give value to artists’ contributions when developing new video games, because that participation has not always been the most important when producing and creating video games. The ultimate goal of this research is to create a new methodology for video game analysis, taking into account both a technical and artistic approach, complementing each other, encouraging this aspect for the creation of future video games.
