Resumo

The current report includes the results achieved during the development of the Doctoral Thesis entitled “Application of advanced extraction and encapsulation technologies to the attainment of functional ingredients from Lippia citriodora”. With the purpose of achieving the goals of this research, different techniques have been used for the extraction, characterization, encapsulation and bioactivity evaluation of the bioactive compounds present in Lippia citriodora in order to develop new functional ingredients. Therefore, the results compiled in the present Doctoral Thesis are shown in two sections: Introduction and Experimental Part.
