Resumo
Students trained in Universities of the Third Age represent a human asset that, thanks to their training and, in many cases, rural origins, could help to improve the quality of life of the population of some rural areas that show very negative indicators of socioeconomic depression. This work provides an overview of what the students of the Aula Permanente de Formación Abierta of the UGR could do, according to 2 teachers of the UGR and researchers in a RDI project called VITALEX, to help recover the traditional speech of rural world while contributing to the diversification of its productive structure. This is the case of Los Gualchos, in the Alpujarra, one of the municipalities that have been studied in the project.
