Resumen

"TUTORGRADOS 2.0" is an innovative project and good teaching practices (PIBD) granted by the Quality, Innovation and Planning Unit of the University of Granada. The PIBD is composed of 21 members (14 teachers, 2 administrative staff and 5 students), who organize, disseminate and carry out the activities during the academic year. This project organizes informative conferences, seminars and workshops which provide a professional, personal and academic orientation to students of the three degrees of the Faculty of Pharmacy (Pharmacy, Human Nutrition and Dietetic, and Food Science and Technology). During the academic year 2019-20, 14 informative conferences have been organized for students of all courses. Moreover, 22 seminars were held to reinforce basic subjects for student of first course of these grades. One of the initiatives within this project is to offer support seminars for some basic subjects. To improve the usefulness of these seminars and, therefore, the academic achievement of the students, their needs are assessed beforehand. The chosen tool for this evaluation is game- based learning platform Kahoot.Furthermore, tutorgrados 2.0 offers information and personal attention to students with special educational needs. Teacher-tutors, voluntarily, carry out specific tutoring activities, according to the type of need and the problems of each student, facilitating, if necessary, an adaptation in their studies that allows them to achieve a better academic performance. It is also pursued that the teacher-tutor inform and advise the professors of students with some type of disability or special needs about the actions to be taken in each specific situation (in the theoretical or practical teaching, the study materials, the evaluation, etc.) in order to achieve the best follow-up of their studies, academic development and participation in extra-academic activities, ensuring the particular conditions that favor the equality and integration of these students in university life. This plan is highly valued by teachers, students and administrative staff and we believe it should continue in successive courses.
