Abstract

Over the last few years, professors have been targeted by many researchers, since they play a key role in the promotion of good habits. A healthy lifestyle is composed of several factors that should work completely. Some of the most influential variables, as demonstrated by research, are: eating habits, physical activity, quality of life, emotional well-being, and sleep quality. Promotion of health within the university context is a process that allows students to increase control over their health and improve it, that is why professors are essential in the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. The main purpose of this paper is to analyse lifestyles of professors from the Melilla Campus which belongs to the University of Granada, in order to identify the most influential factors and thus be able to plan actions that shall promote healthy habits within the university context.
